When I received a text from my mom that Madelyn’s cancer was back, I was heartbroken for her and her family. Our families have always known each other. Our grandmothers raised their children together in Conway. Our mothers and Madelyn’s uncle grew up together. When Madelyn pledged Kappa, she was my little. I knew I wanted to help in some way and so I created two new items: a tea towel and a set of napkins with orange wildflowers.
